 September 7, 2008 Dear Gregg, Thank you so much for the amazing job you did at our wedding reception! You chose a great mix of songs that allowed all of our guests an enjoyable evening. You went above and beyond all of our requests and made a very special and memorable day for us and our families. The blend of oldies with modern hits was appreciated and the block of Frankie Valli songs was a special touch for me and my family. It is unusual for Patrick to get out on the dance floor, and we were up dancing all night. Thank you so much for all that you did to make our wedding day special for us. We had an incredible time and look forward to other parties in the future where we can use your services. Several of our guests are in the process of planning their own weddings. I hope they will choose to work with Ambient DJs, as they have seen first hand the outstanding job you do and the entertainment you provide. Dear Gregg, Thank you for a spectacular job doing the music for our wedding!!! You were just wonderful! I couldn't keep myself off the dance floor most of the night. From looking at the photos, our guests were having the same reaction. I got so many compliments on our choice of DJ---people thought you were terrific and said your music was incredible. You really kept the evening moving wonderfully, taking our list of song requests and filling in the rest with selections that created the feeling and spirit we wanted for our celebration. It was seamless. I think you made the night for the kids too. I was concerned that they might get bored at an evening "adult" wedding, but once they hit the dance floor, they were occupied the rest of the night. Your approach to DJ-ing is very professional and met our needs perfectly. The words that you used in your first email to describe your services were a perfect description of what you provided for us on our wedding: "We avoid cheesy DJ tactics and believe that the bride and groom should be the focal point - not us." I was initially very leery of hiring a DJ because I thought they were synonymous with "cheese." After meeting and talking with you I felt confident that we could get what we were looking for: music that we all would love to dance to without the traditonal wedding-circus feeling ("and over here ladies and gentlemen, in ring number 3...is the mother of the bride limbo!") and we were right. You are the real deal. Thank you for providing us with a cool, classy and dignified night of excellent cocktail hour and reception dance music. We appreciate too, the time and care you took in helping us to create what we wanted. It was such a nice gesture that you came to our side of town for the meeting and then spent so much time helping us plan the music for the cocktail hour, reception and events like cake cutting and our first dance. Thank you for honoring all of our music requests too. To top it all off, you sent us a thank you card after the event. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a top notch professional to handle their music/DJ needs for any party. You are a class act. Thank you Gregg. As is evidenced in the photos that we've received from family and friends the dance floor was THE place to be thanks to you. I know that I spent most of this memorable evening there enjoying myself more than I had in a very long time. Our guests, aged from 17 to 77, all danced the night away. Since the party my husband has shared with me all that he went through in planning this event. Apparently he found himself looking for a deejay on very short notice and it was just our luck that you were available. He also told me that he originally told you that the party would be "low key", which is pretty funny in retrospect! The guest list grew and so did the energy level. Being the professional that you are, you were able to quickly adapt to the needs of the party, both in your response to specific song requests and your general feel for the music that everyone would love. Also, I very much appreciate the CD that you gave me. It is a terrific memento of a great night. When I sent out thank you notes to my guests I included your name and website in case anyone is looking for a great deejay. Many people have mentioned this and agreed that they would gladly use your services. I can highly recommend you to anyone who is considering hiring one of the best deejays in the area. I have used Gregg's services on three occasions and each time Gregg was wonderful. I know it is difficult picking a D.J. and before I met Gregg I had the usual trepidation and uncertainty about whether I did the right thing in choosing him. I am happy to say Gregg put all my fears to rest and I consider myself fortunate to have found him. We used him twice for our block party and once for a very large family reunion. Obviously each occasion is a little different with a different crowd but Gregg knew exactly how to plan for each event. He has great instinct about what music works for a particular crowd and plays the right songs at the right time to keep the party moving. He has just the right touch of getting involved with the crowd without overdoing it or stepping on the musical program. Gregg was also very accommodating about requests and went out of his way to provide special requests or meaningful songs for our events. In my experience Gregg is a reliable, professional D.J. and we are definitely going to use his services again for our next block party. He shows up ahead of schedule and gets set up in plenty of time and does a great job for the duration of the event. I gladly and highly recommend Gregg to my family and friends. All our guests rave about Gregg's performance and I have never had one complaint- only praise. I wish you luck as you plan for your wedding. I think you will be very happy with Gregg's services. We just had our block party last week and the neighbors are still talking about what a great day it was and checking to make sure we will have "our" D.J. for next year! Dear Gregg I just wanted to one more time tell you how grateful I am for you taking on this job with less than 24 hours. You were great and everybody loved you. You were wonderful with the kids and I thought that was just so much more than a "DJ". The music was perfect-People just enjoyed it and it made the whole event that much better. From the beginning of the process he was extremely professional. He gave us 3 separate opportunities to go and see him at work at parties. Gregg gave me a wedding planner to fill out so I would get the exact scenario I wanted. First it had a schedule of events for precise timing. Then it had sections for requests, music types that would or would not be appropriate, and special dedications. Personally I needed timing to be flexible and Gregg was accommodating to that. He played all of my requests and dedications. I left it up to him to choose the guest arrival music and he did a wonderful job at choosing something to coincide with my ceremony selections. He showed up appropriately dressed and was not too vocal as was my request. We really just wanted to hear the music not a play-by-play from him. His song choices were completely right for my crowd and everyone had a great time. I found Gregg to be pleasant, professional, accommodating and talented. I absolutely recommend him for the job. Everyone had a great time and were very complimentary toward the DJ. Can you recommend a DJ in the Syracuse, NY area? My fiance (Gretchen) and I are getting married there May 5th, 2007 and are trying to find a reliable DJ. We'd love to request you, but we assume its a little far away.
