Ambient DJ's bar/bat mitzvah service features a two person team consisting of an Emcee and DJ.  We work closely with the bar/bat mitzvah and their family to create a unique and unforgettable event.  The music - and activities - can all be selected by the bar/bat mitzvah.  While the DJ/MC injects energy to the party, our philosophy is that the bar/bat mitzvah should be the center of attention - not us!  We will do all that we can to showcase the celebrant throughout the program.
 
The music and entertainment can be customized to match with the event's theme.  Our music collection includes all of today's top radio and hip hop selections, and we bring a dance club environment to the reception hall.  Games and activities can be of the traditional variety -  or something new and unique (let us know your ideas!).  Alternatively, you may want to curtail the games and have an extended dance marathon.  The balance between catering to the bar/bat mitzvah and their friends - and the adult guests - is also adjustable to your preference.
 
Upon booking Ambient, we will mail you a hard copy of our detailed mitvah planner.  Approximately one month before the event, we prefer to meet in person with the family and bar/bat mitzvah to review the entire program in detail.  At any time before or after then, you are welcome to consult with us by phone or e-mail with questions, or to discuss ideas.
 
DJs Spinz, Gary, Iron Mike or Gregg - are all available to MC your event.  You will work directly with these individuals in planning your event.  The DJ/MC team will be well-prepared for the reception, and striving to deliver a seamless and high impact performance.

 

BAR/BAT MITZVAH PRICING - We do not offer the typical menu of "packages" but rather a professional service rate, with several optional add-ons.  

 

* Up to five hours of performance.  Multiple zones within the venue (e.g., cocktail hour in separate room is OK); 

* An experienced two person DJ/MC team, with each member having over five years of experience in his craft;

* In-person planning session with your MC, plus unlimited phone and e-mail consultations;

* Lighting effects, including use of a spot light for grand entrance of bar/bat mitzvah;

* Up to $100 of prizes and props included.

 

*  Use of video projector and 90 inch portable screen (for video slideshow of the celebrant) - +$150

*  Add Assistant:  For difficult load-ins and transitions between multiples zones, an assistant be helpful in allowing the DJ/MC to focus on the performance -  +$100.

*  Overtime past five hours of performance -  +$150/hour
